About Sarah

Sarah Kenchington is designing a wonderful musical instrument kit that she will send out to all participating schools in advance of the festival.

Sarah is a musician and instrument maker who has worked on a number of exciting projects and workshops across the UK.

Her projects have involved the development of an acoustic, semi-mechanical orchestra for use in solo performances as well as collaborations, and the design of a range of new instruments that can be made and played by children in mainstream and additional needs settings.

As well as her many instrument-based workshops, Sarah is the co-director of the Claylands Farm artist-led residency program and the Caravan Club, an experimental performance event.
