About Duncan

Duncan Chapman is a composer, sound artist, educator and performer. He regularly works with the UK’s leading music organisations including The Philharmonia Orchestra, Wigmore Hall, Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, the BBC and Sonic Arts Network.

He is also a frequent traveller to more exotic locations and has delivered projects and performances in Tokyo, Singapore, Budapest and throughout Europe. He is a contributor to postgraduate courses at York and Limerick Universities and delivered projects and lectures at many music colleges in the UK and Europe.

His most recent endeavours include a sound installation at the Young Vic, directing a Nintendo Orchestra on the beach at the Aldeburgh Festival and co-composing a piece for Shakuhachi and live electronics in a 360º cinema.
