Sarah Kenchington

Sarah Kenchington is a musician and instrument maker who has worked on a number of exciting projects and workshops across the UK and has established herself as a unique and innovative artist.

She specialises in inventing new musical instruments and sound installations, and her work has included projects involving the development of an acoustic, semi-mechanical orchestra for use in solo performances and collaborations, and the design of a range of new instruments that can be made and played by children in mainstream and additional needs settings.

She has performed on her semi-mechanical orchestra at the Glasgow Centre for Contemporary Art, The Tramway, Modern Art Oxford and the Serpentine Gallery, London. Much of her work is with children and young people of all abilities.

Shane Connolly

Shane Connolly is a multi talented musician, performer, maker and puppeteer. He has performed with Sokobauno and many other theatre companies with puppets and masks since 2002. He plays drums and percussion with The One Ensemble, Alisdair Roberts, Issho drummers and Tattie Toes.
